I don't like that they use a hub. It results in a ridiculously huge install, complicates the update/patch process and also screws around with the achievements by making new games all DLC lists.

Another thing that's annoying about it is that BO6 is going to be added into the same hub, yet that game won't allow you to use the skins you've purchased from the last few CoD games.

Those games all allow you to use skins across the different games regardless of which one you bought it in. BO6 is going to be a fresh slate, despite being included in that same hub.

There were some recent skins that I was considering buying, but I didn't bother in the end because BO6 is releasing soon.

bought an One S this week. spent over a week creating accounts, typing in passwords, entering payment details, accepting privacy agreements, signing up for subscriptions, and hours of installing games overnight... and the select few games I wanted to play just won't run. Forza Horizon 4 hangs on launch, as does Burnout Paradise; other discs inexplicably stop installing halfway and get stuck (Forza 7, FIFA, PGA Tour); 360 titles won't run without a specific hard drive; the HDD is just about full with only around 4 games (!)... and the third party controller we bought has been disabled by microsoft!

Is Xbox servers down or something? Can't log into my second account, and my main account it says I can't play any games at all. I already have a gamepass subscription, it says next billing date is "7/18/24" though, and when I look at my billing history, it says I had also paid on 7/18/24. It doesn't let me cancel and renew my subscription either, which I was gonna try to force reset it back to being the correct date.
