Just wait. If it failed for some reason, they'll usually contact you. Sometimes they need to contact you for permission to allow the purchase as well, especially if it's something you don't usually buy.

Because it's not a simple process to just release on the Windows store. It needs to be ported to the right format, have the Xbox integration implemented, achievements etc, maybe set it up as Play Anywhere etc.

it's a lot of work and they had already been dealing with getting the game ready for Steam once the one year exclusivity ended.

Also, Microsoft may not have negotiated it for PC due to the exclusivity being in place at the time. Or the dev/publisher may not have been able to negotiate such a deal while Epic had theirs in place.

gameplay is average at best, though there is a little less repetition in the puzzles than the first game. Visuals/audio/storytelling is top tier. Goes without saying though that if you like story games then it's a must-play, but don't expect it to be leagues better than the first one.

The game really suffers from repetition. No spoilers but as soon as the game introduced a new 'puzzle' (using that lightly because they weren't exactly challenging in the slightest) I just knew I'd be doing 5 variations on that bloody puzzle before it moved onto something else. I really would have preferred them making say 5 different puzzles, instead of just increasing the difficulty of the first one until we are sick of it

I am currently downloading hellblade2. The download speed is very low. Is that because of my internet connection or most likely that everyone is downloading it?

I'm not sure, I don't play many JRPGs.

If you've played the older Legend of Zelda games like Twilight Princess, for example, that's more or less the style of "open world" that it has.

Theres a black bar across the top and bottom of my widescreen tv when i play it. It ruins any kind of imerrsion. In my opinion thats terrible

Not all games are for everyone and that's totally okay. I'm still trying to figure out if the game is for me. I can still see the value the game has completely separate from my own feelings, however.

I quit playing after the (spoiler for the near-beginning) ||draugr ritual fight|| because I needed a break too. It's just so mentally taxing.

I do have a really petty gripe. When your game opens with a 'push forward for 2 minutes' section, that's not a great first impression hahaha

There were times I was just sitting there waiting because I didn't realize you had to actually press buttons to move things out of the way.

As someone with generalized/mild psychosis it was easy for me to tune the voices out (and sometimes mine would mix with Senua's which...was an interesting experience that I can't say I've had before, not even with the first game), but the thing that started becoming overwhelming was the constant struggle to figure out what was gameplay, what was cutscene, and how I was meant to interact with the game world.

Exactly. The game will go into "cutscene mode" where Senua moves on her own but then she'll stop moving and it's back in your control, but then it'll go into a cutscene again, so you'll be sat there frozen...it was just frustrating.

If there was maybe a button hallucination on the screen (or if they'd remove those damn black bars for gameplay sequences), the entire issue disappears.
