The game may be enjoyable, but you'll be unfamiliar with a lot of the story.

I would recommend that you at least start with Gears 4, as that's the start of the new story. You can watch a story recap of 1-3 to get caught up to that point.

You could also watch a recap of 4 too if you really want to jump in from 5, but I'd recommend 4 at least, if you're not going to do 1-3.

I'm not sure if it has split-screen or not.

So about 4 days ago my gamepass ran out mid DBD game and I was vaulting over a pallet and I'm not sure why but the anticheat registered it as me cheating and banned me for 24 hours, it's all well and good I'm unbanned I've moved on. It's a weird tier system. Upgrading from Core to Gamepass for Console drops everything from Core besides the library which expands to the whole console library. Ultimate brings back the Core benefits and adds PC Gamepass, cloud streaming, and EA Play.

Xbox Live Gold is not a thing so you will be looking for Game Pass Core its the same price.. but yeah 12 months of that. 1 month Ultimate will be 9 months total

Payback is pretty bad. It was worse at launch because it was built around randomised loot boxes and mtx, heavily pay to win, so bad that they had to patch it out but it never really helped.
