If you're looking for turn based rpgs, Chained Echoes and Sea of Stars are beautiful.

F.I.S.T. is a metroidvania like Ori and Hollow Knight.

Death's Door is also a good option, especially if you liked Tunic.

If you like action rpgs, there's a Chinese game called Sword and Fairy: Together Forever. I bought that game a few months before it was on Game Pass, and I loved every second of it.

Bloody hell. I got a weird issue then. I was playing lies of p on my XSX (over 30 hours progress) and yesterday I thought I’ll try the play anywhere feature and see if I can resume the game on my gaming PC. I installed the game on my PC but it didn’t pick up my cloud save so I created a new one as I wanted to see how it looks on a 3090. I google during this time to find out that lies of PC is not a a cross platform game and doesn’t support play anywhere. However, when I played on my PC the starter game save synced to cloud and overwrote my XSX save. I only found out today when I started lies of p on my console as it complained the game is not synched with cloud. Once synced, it deleted my local save with over 30 hours progress and I’ve been looking everywhere how to get it back. How is it even possible for PC save to overwrite console save?

so its not a Play anywhere but it does sync the data . .i just installed to test it but if the local save was on the cloud it should of used it(but the new game save may of done re saved as a over wright some games do this with out telling you ) and if not that may be why it over written the save .. but not all sure.... Also when online all games are auto saved to the cloud not on the Xbox

If you want the full catalogue and online play, then you need game pass ultimate

You can certainly give it a shot. If you already have game pass ultimate there is no harm in trying.

But I can guarantee that the input latency is going to be higher. And if you can play a game “1 second after clicking play” I don’t know why you’d want to wait 30 minutes (well hours for some people recently) to play on cloud 😉

Xcloud is great for a lot of situations but not all.
