and r6 has 'cross progression' so your progress can be synced between xbox and pc and playstation

GP still rules. Especially having every modern 1st party Xbox game in there or such a huge Multiplayer selection really makes it worth it.
Just picking a game and hopping in with a group of people is satisfying. For 3rd Party Single Player I mostly try them on GP and buy them afterwards. I take a long time to play through those.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Dragon Quest XI and Stardew Valley are some of my favourites I tried on Game Pass and ended up buying.

Guardians was an amazing experience. Never had any contact with Marvel aside from Spider-Man in my childhood. Game looked interesting and fun so I gave it a try.
Completely loved it, started watching the movies because of that and now here I am a year later having watched the entire MCU and being a huge Marvel fan all thanks to this game.
Also the Soundtrack. I listen to the Star-Lord Album regularly! It's sooo good!
So yeah it's experiences like that that make the "pick up and play something you otherwise wouldn't" nature of Game Pass so amazing.
Most of my all time favourites are games have been in GP at some point. Including ones that I owned before they came to Xbox. I have the feeling it motivated more devs to port stuff over.
