The amount of people who even remotely assume you keep the games astounds me... Microsoft would literally go bankrupt if you subscribed to game pass with a trial (or even paid for a month) and allowed you to keep every game you downloaded. I can download almost 300 games between my three hard drives. I'd make them go broke faster then someone who went broke really fast. ^_^

It's not really generous when they're basically free and worthless, being trial codes. You get it if you buy Discord Nitro and not everyone wants to use it. Some people don't have fast enough internet for cloud and don't own an XBox, some just aren't interested in the games, some people don't have a payment method they can use, etc.
