@neat thorn bit of a stretch but Terraria is currently $5 on Steam (PC) and gets my highest recommendation. It can run on pretty much any modern computer for the most part. On Xbox it is $20 currently, though I prefer the PC controls to console, and console is currently one major update behind the PC version (coming soon/eventually).

Terraria is epic though, one of the best games I've ever played, and with tons of replayability. Also supports playing online with friends, but is perfectly fine offline solo
