I was just looking at my stats for both versions. The Xbox One version took me 32 hours to complete, the next-gen version took me 19 hours.

I did a good chunk of the XB1 version when it came out. The issue was figuring out which quests I'd done and still needed to go and find, then work my way back through everything.
I just need to do another 3 side missions, then defeat two bosses. ||esseJ and Mr. Tomassi||

It took me a few to get used to the controls again. I didn’t complete the Xbox One base game originally, just beat the story. I went back a few days ago and mopped up the achievements I was missing. They also added assists that make the game a lot easier. You can turn on one hit kills that kills everything including bosses and turn on invincibility. I blew through the next-gen version pretty quickly with those assists on.

Butterfly is my current daily streak game. I've been playing a lot of longer games, or a lot of co-op with few achievements, so I load up Butterfly each day, get a quick achievement shortly after midnight and it keeps my streak running.
A few of the Sometimes You games are tough. EastAsiaSoft is another that has pretty easy games.

Yeah, it gets crazy. You’re in a small gas station with just a pistol, and you have to kill 100 zombies. It gets insane halfway through.

For the most part gamerscore functions the same as PS trophies. Just something to show how many you have.
But if Microsoft Rewards is available in your country and you have Game Pass, you can do the weekly Game Pass missions for reward points, some of which require you to earn achievements.
There are also occasionally (but rarely) challenges like earning 10,000 gamerscore to get 10,000 reward points.

I enjoyed the Nome's Attic DLC. I saw some comments on the price but I realized that it was the same price as the hats from the first game with a little bit extra added on to the price since there was a puzzle segment too. it was short but it was fairly nice

I got the 70k Nightmare achievement on the last map available too. I'd already ran through the prior ones and wasn't able to snag it but then I pulled the clutch at the end

nightmare mode in arcade can be exceptionally frustrating
it's basically nightmare difficulty from Alan Wake...mixed with the Arcade mode in American Nightmare, but enemies don't spawn in waves like they do on normal mode, they spawn endlessly based on when you kill them
eventually when you kill one another will spawn and takes it place

It's not too difficult on the hardest, especially with how linear it is too
alan wake's a bit harder due to how enemies spawn in and such, but it's basically the same as normal just with some slight damage value tweaks
american nightmare's arcade mode nightmare version can be a bit tricky though
if you get a chance, I hope you'll be able to snag a good deal on computer/components
cause I know how that can be all too well
trying to hold out and see if the PC version gets its pricing fixed or if it goes on sale. it's kinda a losing battle cause I really wanna play those expansions again 😅

I just realized something, you can smash 200 boards in Forza . After you did that you will get an achievement. Once you smash 198 boards Xbox will tell you that you have completed 98% of the achievement. But shouldn’t it be 99% ?

I'll be playing through Fallout 4 at some point as I have it on Xbox with the DLC, but if I can knock out the list with commands on PC as well then that will save some time.
