I already know that my Hangman is specifically tied to ||Assassin's Creed Shadows||

I already knew that it was based on how the words were spaced for the title. It matter more on which it was ||as the subtitle was 7 characters, which was either Origins, Odyssey or Shadows, and I had a feeling it was Shadows for some reason||

I got the first few characters via Rare Replay, and I figured for a good bulk of them to do a playthrough of Halo 2 Anniversary

makes it easier, as I can check off halo 2 on my bucket list for 2025

I would specifically need to do each mission for Halo 2, and try to find the terminals while I'm at it

We know what happened. It was a compatibility issue with the Framework that Capcom uses not working properly on Xbox consoles. Xbox worked with Capcom to get it released.

Find it funny whenever someone questions the authenticity of someone being able to finish a game that just came out

Had it happen to me with Spider-Man 2.

I had a lot of stuff going on the week it came out, so I told people about it, and they did not believe I was able to do it in a period of one week

I just moved into a new place, picked up the game, then 3-4 days afterward had to get hospitalized. Came back home and finished it like a champ.

Even if you subtract the stuff that happened, still was seen as unbelievable that it could've taken anyone a week to finish. It was a 24h platinum, and most sources confirmed that was the average for the platinum time

250 Triple Kills is a lot.

Portal Kills were hard to come by in the original, and in the original there was only a single portal kill trophy (basically, someone has to die from exiting a portal, via falling to death from it.). I'm curious on if they changed it to where it's now specifically getting kills THROUGH portals. (plant a portal somewhere and fire a bullet through it to hit someone)

1000 Headshot kills, not really difficult. It comes second nature

an actual grind where it'll eventually happen

I probably average around 10 kills per match, so in doing the math I would need to play 100 matches in terms of headshots

Made some minor goals at least with this challenge for my Xbox backlog, like getting back into Gears of War, and I've successfully ran through Act I

I finished my challenge

I mostly grinded out my letters from Halo MCC. Anything else was one offs from different games (Rare Replay, Borderlands 1 AND 2, We Happy Few, Minecraft Legends, and Gears of War Ultimate Edition)

Though after doing this, I'm a bit motivated to finish Borderlands GOTY Edition

I played ds1 like a month ago while my Internet was out, and subsequently beat the game

There are many things I love about Xbox, from the fantastic Game Pass service to the comfort of the controller. However, as an avid achievement hunter, my experience has highlighted some key differences that have caused me frustration and detracted from the overall gaming fun.

True 100% Completion Shouldn't Require Extra Purchases: Why does a 100% game completion require purchasing all paid DLCs? On PlayStation, getting the "Platinum" trophy was tied to completing just the base game. This system felt rewarding, as it honored the player's effort without forcing them to spend extra money. The current setup makes the sense of achievement feel incomplete and unfairly burdens players who are invested in this aspect of gaming.

Cloud Saves: Missing Control and Security: While I appreciate the automatic cloud saves on Xbox, the lack of a manual save option is a real drawback. On PlayStation, I had the flexibility to manage my saves manually, which allowed me to restore my progress at any point I wanted. This is a feature I sorely miss.

I believe Xbox is a great platform, but I feel that addressing these points would significantly strengthen its position and make it a better choice for players in the long run. I'm keen to hear your thoughts on these points!

What I prefer for Xbox is that it will track achievements more accurately. Like there are some that have this "percentage", so it counts what you need to finish. On PlayStation, these same trophies aren't always like that. Sometimes there's a counter, sometimes there isn't

There's also problems with the platinums for collection games on PS5.

I tried the go offline approach and then deleted the game from local storage to get to the save point when I went offline. probably the best one to do imo since it was my first ever 100%, and it doesn't have DLC so you aren't forced into doing anything extra, nor does it have anything grinding compared to Control

It's pretty basic, completing the game (especially on Hard Mode), and doing all the different paths (there's two, really, but it allows you to try different forms of the story), plus all collectibles (which are pretty easily trackable. If there's something you struggle with, might be a walkthrough)

If I were making a game that featured trophies/achievements, I would go out of my way to ensure that everything is obtainable.

like if there were multiplayer achievements, I would do something like make them obtainable via couch co op, and not too grueling.

Destiny 2 have a lot of issues but for many years they just "give" some trophies/achievements on modes that were unobtainable.

But right now it seems they broke something and there are 2 unobtainable trophies at least on PlayStation, if you're a new player.

For "cheesey easy games" you guys who like them will open your eyes someday. Time moves to all of us and there are many ways to "click" our mind and perception on this matter. Some comes after several years, some others realized earlier.

People with more than 2.000.000G and spending their entire time and life on these kind of games, while not playing masterpieces like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Suikoden 1 and 2, or great Multiplayer experiences like Star Wars Battlefront 1, 2, Battlefield 1, even Fortnite, Call of Duty, The First Descendant, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, PUBG and many more can be enjoyable, but they're not experienced any of these in order to play games with the lowest quality ever made on consoles and the videogame industry since ever

It should be all a mix of things. Just a bunch of these games are good, but on the other hand some "easy old games" (like just beat the story and that's the 100% achievements, but the story could be 12 hours or so), aka Telltale Games for instance, usually present to you some really good storylines, characters, original soundtrack and great experiences despite not having a "super enjoyable and studied gameplay"

The Walking Dead series, The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones from Telltale and Tales From The Borderlands are amazing games, amazing experiences

Just saying... Don't miss some really good stories in videogames for getting another 10.000G for 10 cheesy horrible games. You will regret it someday

People were speculating that the second trilogy will get a remaster (Legends I think), the new game could get a formal reveal at either a possible PS Showcase or TGA in December, and recently we got casting information for the upcoming Tomb Raider series (plus I think the animated show on Netflix's S2)

Personally, I don't know where the current Tomb Raider game is in terms of its development timeline, as I don't know how much of Crystal Dynamics resources did Perfect Dark take up (and how much of a priority it could've been for the developer compared to Tomb Raider)

Hard to give an exact time as I have games on pause a lot, but in-game time is around 176 hours. I could have done it faster, but I used auto-drive quite a bit while doing other things and doing extra side content.

Interesting... Deep Rock Galactic Survivor is a 2,000 gamerscore game. That 2K gamerscore is a single list, no title updates or DLC. Just a straight up 2K gamerscore game with 300 achievements.
