But when a game is added on Gold or Game Pass you’ll find lots of people launch the game and may not play a lot of it. They will count as players and that skews the rarity of achievements so you’ll see seemingly easy achievements showing as rare. Also DLC achievements often show as rare because not everyone buys the DLC

Wondering if anyone can help me with Drop The Bass achievement in Hitman, I did all the requirements and still stuck at 66 percent a lot of people were having issues.

I've spent 2 days on that achievement going through every nook and cranny trying to trigger that achievement. Unfortunately its a save game related issue and I have no idea how to work around it. I've even tried killing Agent 47 after killing one of the characters to undo the glitch with the coconut, but it cannot be undone and I think its because I used the exact same coconut to kill them both.

Lucy's are showing fine, even from the same game. I've even tried a different game about 12 hours later and still nothing.

If you're concerned about dying and losing your save, there's a way to cheese it.

Whenever you make a save, fully quit the game and go back to the dash ensuring the game is closed. That will back up your save to the cloud.

If you die, press the Xbox button and go to the dash - DO NOT quit the game.

Press start/menu on the game tile and go to 'Manage game and add-ons'. Then go down to 'Saved data'.

Press A on the entry for your profile and select 'Delete from Console'.

Relaunch the game. It will then sync the save from the cloud which will be the one you backed up at your last save point so the only progress you lose is whatever you did from that save point up to where you died. Much better than starting the game all over again.

Yeah, they patched it. It no longer gives 100% completion. It gives all but one achievement, but that one achievement is almost impossible to get yourself.

Man, some of the achievements in the Hitman games are hard.. Like having to finish levels on Master difficulty. I figured out how to do the Alma mission on Master, but I still have a ton of challenges to do to get all the achievements. I'm just glad there isn't a "Mastery level 20" for Hawkes Bay, because those are some of the most difficult.

yeah that world is difficult without ability's that's for sure if your having trouble aiming (I didn't do it) but have heard you could equip some ability with the a rectile to help with movement but catch 22 you gotta make sure you don't actually use the ability accidently see it will count it as a non-ability level (I only did that during the boss just heard it works with levels so can't confirm) even with an ability equipped as long as you never use it

Not really hard, mostly time consuming. The hardest parts are probably the combat trials as they take a bit of practice to get right.

The Riddler trials can take a while, but with a guide they're easy enough to find and do.

I like "getting the 1k", but some games also have random total gamerscore amounts, especially Microsoft games

some are as low as 1k, some games like Minecraft and Halo Infinite can go up to 2.2-2.8k, and then you have games like the master chief collection that go up to 7k

The base game is almost always 1K though. Anything over that is typically from DLC or title updates. There are a few games that have more than 1K gamerscore in the base game, but those are usually remasters and similar games which have the DLC that was released originally rolled into the base game. But the standard gamerscore for a base game with no DLC and title updates is 1K.

Its MW2 Complete the campain in Realism i did it but i remember that in cuphead if your friend completed the game and you went with a different account you could get the achivement and Mw2 I dont know if it does and i thoght that they delete it to put a patch

Hey guys, I have a question about achievements. This story will sound weird so please bear with me

I'm playing a game THAT I OWN via the Xbox app on my Windows PC. The game itself isn't relevant, but what matters here is that there is a VERY grindy achievement in-game. One that I have spent the last 3 years working on getting, on and off, in bursts. It essentially requires you to do a loooooot of time in ONE save file. One "run".

Well, I'm extremely close to the achievement. One problem: they announced two weeks ago that a long awaited update to the game is arriving. But one part of that update will involve having to wipe save files, as they will be incompatible with what the update brings.

I thought this update would come March 31st, so I worked on the achievement on and off the last two weeks. I'm within touching distance.

Except I was wrong. The update came out today, the 30th.

cheevo should unlock and then when you get back online it should be fine I think? I only play on console so not sure how the PC offline cheevo scenario works

Right but here's the thing

So I did completely yank my PC from the internet. The update has not come in and I can play offline rn. But... when I open the game. There's no achievements option. No way to see or track them. So my current fear is that since the Xbox app thinks I'm "signed out", it's not tracking achievemnts

I worry that if I connect to the internet to sign in, it'll detect the update and not allow me to play until it's been applied

on console you'd earn the achievement and it would unlock when you sign back in but idk how it works on PC. I assume it's the same but not sure

Here's my current idea: start playing the game offline as is, then get to juuuust before the point where I know the achievement pops. In that moment, without exiting the game: go back online. I'll sign in, the in-game xbox overlay will come on and now show achievements. And since I'm mid-game, it won't boot me out, so I can finish the achievement and THEN once I exit out it'll apply the update
