I don't agree with that statement. I'm pretty positive your just trying to avoid the same lawsuit as Facebook and Meta. The one that all law office just won. Great . Probably been better off if we had just required players to provide age verification and you must be 18 and up instead. I started playing avowed on my series x I have been mostly playing games on my pc but I’m pleasantly surprised how well the series x performs.

I think I’ll keep playing on my series x for other games, I like that I don’t have to deal with constant driver updates and my series x does not sound like a jet engine all the time.

Admittedly I have been reluctant to play on console because so many people praise pc as being the best thing ever I am happy i decided to give it a try

those that praise PC gaming like so (myself included) likely don't mind the extra upkeep of being on PC. Overall the driver updates don't bother me as I'm in a habit now of updating stuff as soon as it becomes available as a stable version but I won't update if it shows beta, testing or preview. I find being able to access the very latest hardware is really cool too, even if it can cost a lot and having control over how you want your game to run (graphics and display related settings) offers imo a very strong case for PC.
Console gaming is definitely a lot more simple where you don't have to worry about much of that or upgrading your hardware every few years, so there really should be an option for everyone there 😇
