I thought so too but there are parts of the game that remind me of the Assassin's Creed 2 on Switch controversy. NPCs look like they're from PS3 gen compared to main characters who look modern. Some background foilage and flora look like n64 textures and sailing on the sea has a weird shadow tint for some reason

It's not even consistent with it either. You have some environments and NPCs that look good but then the next area has the bad things I mentioned, peppered throughout the map

Well they do work with some relatively constrained budgets for those games. They know their target audience is not as big as a AAA game, and they release them at a relatively fast pace one after another. So it's understandable they'd cut back on some areas where they don't feel additional money is needed.

most OLED displays will have some burn in protection measures but I would still try to make sure to turn the display off when not in use and outside of HDR content keep brightness away from max settings
