AMD closed the gap on Nvidia somewhat with their 9000 series Radeon GPUs but they are still behind. Nvidia have a much larger team and at least one generation up on ray tracing technology so its really no surprise there but in terms of cost AMD can still be highly competitive against Nvidia

only reason to me that it sounds like the battery is draining so fast is that power plan is either set to high performance or the more powerful 4080 GPU it has is being put to use over the 780M, even in tasks that may not be completely necessary to use it with and yeah, you'll lose performance using the 780M over the 4080 but battery life should improve doing that. The joys of a system with multiple GPUs. Desktop at least you can turn off the integrated GPU that is part of the CPU but I hear that can vary or not be recommended to do on a laptop

On the cloud. Saves stay there unless u physically manage the game and delete the save data. If u play expedition 33 in june. Gp expire and didnt renew til august u could just return from where u left off
