If they're going with the same form factor, I don't want this to just be a more powerful Switch. I want it to have some cool features that really set it apart and not just the mouse thing. That won't get used in most games, like the IR sensor didn't on the current Switch. It would just be party mini game stuff.

Wind Waker was great, but I didn't really enjoy most of the others. I've always preferred the 2D/top down games.

This is Nintendo we're talking about.
Even if the hardware form-factor is the same, they will absolutely have some new surprise system-wide function that is used in creative ways in their first party titles. We've all seen them do Mii, StreetPass, Miiverse and more in the past.

Nintendo pretty much knows that just a more powerful Switch won't cut it (even if that would still sell well for their first party games)

I liked the design of the Wii U's eShop (not its performance), since it allowed for so many special promo events

I must have done dozens of banners for the Wii U eShop in the past, for different promotions 😛

The only thing that annoyed me back then is that the Wii U had different eShop formats between North America and EU.
So the banners had to be all different sizes between them.

But it had its moments of being inappropriate since there was a function that allow users to freely draw whatever in separate threads within fandoms.

And that component is what think led to Nintendo pulling the plug.

The main issue was that the content submitted became visible in game lobbies, so even people that didn't actively participate in Miiverse were exposed to the content in games.

Nintendo's fault for not having a failsafe in not allowing users to break rules.

Our most modern way to play "StarFox" is still a DLC for that Ubisoft toys-to-life game. Starlink, Battle for Atlas.

I'm still gutted about those damn mercenary mode achievements in RE7. I hate when extra game modes are bundled in that are nothing like the main game and they link achievements to them.

RE is not about racing around like the Merc Mode and I didn't like it. I managed to do all but one of them, so now have just one achievment left incomplete in that game.
