Nexus is a very different type of game, since it's VR. So that depends on whether or not you enjoy playing VR games.
Valhalla is a good game, though quite lengthy, especially if you add up all the extra content that came out afterwards. I know a lot of people don't get to finish Valhalla due to how long it is, but it's quite solid, fun combat, great exploration.

The older games have smaller maps, but focus instead more on the bigger cities and are a lot more linear.

it won't be worth the hit. Usually never is with RT vs non RT performance. Though at least the performance hit between the two doesn't seem the worst. I have seen other games where you enable ray tracing and performance drops massively. Talking something like 100+ FPS down to 20-30 FPS and after seeing that I turned it back to non ray tracing. That was maxed non RT vs maxed + RT maxed

finding all the collectibles in Forspoken isn't great, which it can be for a lot of these "open world games"

because there is a fine line for when they replicate these kinds of things in order to stretch it out, or provide a wider variety at the cost of making it much shorter

in the case of forspoken, majority of the game development time was placed more into designing the entire world itself, and the variety in its combat

enemy variety is alright

You got 4 or 5 classes of enemies, and each of them have their own variety of around 4 or 5. so there's probably 20 unique enemy variants

either way, finding all the collectibles is the current task I am handed
