I did have an older Xbox account that I created when I first got a 360 back in that generation, but I didn't keep the console for long and decided to start fresh rather than use that one when I got an XB1 in 2016 to give it a try.

They added in trophies around 2008 I think. I seem to have my first ones around that time

It's a shame True Trophies never took off as well for the PlayStation side. PSN Profiles has the core audience, but guides on there and True Trophies are never as good as they are on TA.
