Can sometimes happen that your source (eg. console) has an HDMI handshake issue with the TV, and the console thinks your TV is only capable of that resolution. Usually turning the TV on and off helps.

I know some games on XB1 do have Kinect Support, but I know it definitely became less common after the launch of the XB1

The only XB1 game I've played that had Kinect Support was like Battlefield 4, I think

Lots of different roles within game development.
Some people do manage to make entire games on their own, but that means they do need to learn how to create their own artwork, sounds, and yes, they will most likely need to learn how to program quite a bit.

Otherwise, most game developers specialize. A Level Designer in this case is the type of developer who creates maps for games. Not just "levels", but it can also be creating an entire enemy outpost in an open world game, setting up all the different enemies they will encounter, adding "Level Design Ingredients", that is, things like explosive barrels that players can use to kill several enemies at once, or platforms that launch the player into the air, among others.

I like that with some games there is edition upgrades available. Especially on Game Pass. You already have the game you can access (if on the ultimate tier) and there may be an edition upgrade available with a small discount to it. It's tricky. There's definitely other games of smaller scope that have done just fine.
But I think there can be a better balance between having a solid, straightforward story that players can complete without having to put hundreds of hours, while still having enough engaging side content that the more explorer type of player will want to get off the beaten path to tackle.

I think one of the problems triple A has is the studio size too. A small game probably doesn't do the numbers to keep them going. The flexibility just isn't there. It's a shame really as I do honestly wish we could go back to a more manageable scope in games and team sizes. PS2/Xbox to 360/PS3 seemed to be about right. Sega have kinda kept this going with the Yakuza series, but it's very different for bigger studios.

There have been other smaller games done by AAA studios too.
Even at Ubisoft, this year they released Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
