Windows and PCs are built for K*M consoles are not in terms of software. On console its a closed ecosystem. you also have to take into effect people that are using controllers as using a controller and playing in a game vs someone on K&M is not nice or fair, As soon as you add one small thing to a game it breaks 100 other things

I don't think Ubisoft wants it to be that type of game in the first place.

No SBMM, no stupid stuff, just people on the ground with some support abilities and plain guns, and no KBM support + forced input-based matchmaking with bans for bypasses. I'm actually happy with all the directions they went with the game, my only complaint is the TTK just feels way too long.
