It's also extremely difficult to quantify the difficulty of games like that. DS2's normal enemies are dangerous, but the bosses are...really kinda pushovers or have some environmental cheese available to the player. I've only gotten through half the game so I can really only talk about that, but from what I played, I'd say it's easier in the sense that the bosses aren't super worrying, but it's still a Souls game so you'll probably get smacked if you're not careful.

I think it’s funny that fallout nv struggles to stay at 60fps at 720p with extremely low settings on an xbox series x, but my crappy old MacBook that can barely run Minecraft can manage nearly 4k 60 at max settings with zero issues

Every backwards compatible game I've ever played has worked just fine and runs the same, if not better (considering enhancements), than it always has.

For the game to hit higher frame rates it needs to have been optimised for the newer and more powerful hardware.

Otherwise it's left as it was optimised for running on a 360, frame caps and all.

Console games are optimised for the hardware they release on and less scaleable than PC games. They need updates to add in compatibility for newer and more powerful consoles.

There's that, and there's also the fact that you're complaining about the framerate of a game that will crash if you press a button at the wrong time. It's not exactly a prime example of a game that runs well.

We got Taco Bell and it was big yuck. Not sure what happened there, but...damn, dude. I've never had a worse experience at Taco Bell. Gordita crunch was like...stale and not even crunchy. Grilled cheese burrito tasted like feet. Didn't even try the chalupa.

If you want to play your Windows games, of those two devices I strongly recommend the Ally over the Steam Deck. Getting the games running on a Steam Deck is a pain and not worth the effort when the Ally tuns them natively.
