It's like I was saying before, obviously companies (not just Google, but really any of them) want you to use their services to the fullest extent you can. That's just logical from a business sense and there's...really no issue that I have with that, at least on paper.

However, if the user experience gets impacted severely in favor of delivering as many of the features of your app/service as possible with no way to disable them or even just hide them from specific tabs, then no. That's just not acceptable.

Not to mention disabling the dislike counter. One of the easiest ways to figure out at a glance if the video you're about to watch is even worth watching (obviously you need to also pay attention to the potential context involved as well) was to check the dislikes. If someone made a video about...I don't know...how to cook a steak, and the dislike meter dwarfed the like meter, then you can probably guess that something went wrong and you might wanna check a different video.

It's this type of stuff that I'm specifically referring to.

Unless it's not the first time you're launching that game. Then you stare at the desktop with a window showing the game's splash screen, then you get a "Do you want to let this app use your Xbox account?"
Like... yes, I launched this game from the Xbox app. Why the heck do I need to allow each and every game to connect to my Xbox account? >_>

Yep, the Xbox app is not good on these handhelds at all. Even more so on the Ally due to the lack of track pads, so navigation can be super clunky.

I'm honestly fine with using the right stick for the cursor when needed, as an exception when the game/app is not made for it

But really though, I was a bit disappointed the first time I played a few games, since I needed to tweak graphics settings quite a lot to get at a somewhat 60 FPS experience.
And some games (like Chrono Trigger from Steam o_0) would run SLOOOOOW at the 10W TDP mode, even felt unresponsive at 15W when moving the cursor through the menus.

After a couple of updates, and also after disabling Memory Integrity on Windows (something apparently even Microsoft recommends if you need more performance for games), things changed right away

Apparently Asus has been doing really well when it comes to listening to what players are using and adding those as options within the firmware.
900p resolution and turning CPU Boost off are two of those

But yeah, after the Memory Integrity setting and those firmware updates, I was playing Hi-Fi Rush at 60 FPS without changing any settings, and Persona 5 running at high also at 60 FPS. On the 15W mode, which would seem would let me run those games for at the very least a couple of hours.

come to think of it. Didn't Fallout 4 originally release before AMD Ryzen existed? I think there may be some issues with it even knowing how to use the CPU properly with it being chiplet and such. Fun and games for those on AMD Ryzen processors past Ryzen 1000 (that was still using a monolithic die iirc) and Intel 12th gen and newer where those CPUs use a combination of Performance cores (P-Cores) and Efficient cores (E-Cores). The problem with the old gta remake, remaster is they are all based off the iOS version which straight up sucks
