So uh, if you play Jade Empire on Series consoles there's a good chance you'll hit a bugged cutscene that'll completely break your game by just...permanently black screening. But you can fix it in the jankiest way possible, and I can't believe it actually worked for me 🤣
-Save your game right before the cutscene that breaks it
-Close the game
-Go to the Compatibility Options for the game and turn off Auto HDR
-Start the game back up and reload the save
-Turn your TV off, blindly walk your character forward enough to trigger the cutscene, wait a couple seconds, then hit X to skip the cutscene
-Turn your TV back on
Voilà, you have successfully dodged/fixed the bug

I tried getting through the cutscene normally 7x, every time I tried it black screened my game permanently. The only way to fix the cutscene is to turn your TV off and hit the Skip Cutscene button 😂
Then you turn it back on and boom, the cutscene magically worked while it was off

To be fair, how a game handles Quick Resume is not any different than how it would handle regular suspend/resume (what happens after a game is in the background for more than 10 minutes or if your console goes to sleep with the game running).

So the game is already messed up for other scenarios and it's not solely quick resume's fault

However, Cuphead is built to be overwhelming at first, throws several patterns at you, and even once you've learned them after a few tries and made it past it, you get the next boss phase with new patterns, then the next... having to re-do it all again if you die. That is NOT what counts as the definition of an easy game.

If you put them in a zip file you can just change the file extension to .mcpack and it will become executable

More love than hate. Most people that played it acknowledge it as one of the best ones. Compared to OoT which was just a simple mainstream "Good guy vs evil" story and more accessible gameplay... MM refines everything and has simply the best Zelda story till today

I just didn't like the time based mechanics in Majora, can slow down time to get things done easier but would rather it didn't exist at all. I have no idea how anyone could find all the masks without a walkthrough either.

Oh there's a quaint little repeatable bug on Discord then
If you post to a channel, it'll update the status to unread. Then if the message gets deleted it'll still be unread. Then it you open the channel it'll show as read, but if you switch channels, it goes back to unread until you do "mark channel as read".
