Just drop it. The only way you will ever be able to publish a game showcasing your "vision" of bringing back the true identity is to get hired by the company that owns the IP, make it high enough up the ranks to have sway with the execs and board to be able to pitch and direct a game, and then do just that. You aren't going to pitch a game to another company as an independent dev, you aren't going to get permission to publish a game yourself using the IP.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but that's how the business world works.

Xbox Series X, Gamepass Ultimate is a much better deal than PS+, and the Series X will likely last longer than the PS5 simply due to a bigger library and the new acquisition of Activision/Blizzard
