Yeah that's another thing. I put theHunter: Call of the Wild on Series X next to my One S, and my One S damn near looked black-and-white (seriously) next to the colors and resolution and HDR on the Series X.

This is why a lot of the time I prefer games that stylize themselves more, obviously it's not for every game, but eventually every photorealistic game will be outdated because we keep achieving higher and higher fidelity

And you look at wind waker (gamecube) now which runs at 480p with cell shading, it looks phenomenal still. Again not every game needs stylization and it depends on how you do it, but it's an example I love to use

It's a bit more nuanced than that and both can look amazing but neither one nor the other is better, just saying that more games can probably profit from going a little bit more stylized
