I did want to ask what exclusives Xbox has other than halo

Honestly I don't pay too much attention to exclusives, because I've got all the platforms so it ceases to matter. That said, XBOX has been buying a bunch of studios and whatever they have now I would expect there to be way more in the future.

However, Forza, Gears of War, Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, MS Flight Sim, Pentiment, Quantum Break, Ori...
I think all of these are on PC as well, because XBOX just does that.

A disk doesn't mean you have access to the digital copy. Those are two separate things. IDK what to tell you, I haven't bought discs in a long time.

Maybe try going to a used game store and asking them to resurface the disc. Usually costs a small amount.

To try to explain though, the app will let you install ANY GAME that works on your console. You can install it, you can put the files there. It's meant as a convenience feature to let you pre-load games before you buy I think.

You can only play them if in some way you have access. Buying games, using Game Pass, these are ways to get access.
