DL1 Enhanced is amazing. DL2 is better now but still not where DL1 was in terms of quality. DI1 is a good game in coop and rather boring alone. But for like 4 bucks or what they are asking it’s good.

It's the fact that it's not really hiding the fact it's a spider. Many people still know it's a spider because you see this deformed blob that you altered with a slider.

It's not removing the spider, it's just putting a disguise on it. Whereas replacing with a beetle or some other bug means no more spiders.

I was typing a while ago now about how the import character system is just...hilariously exploitable in Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, but it kinda got me wondering why, in the enhanced edition bundle, you're not able to import a character from one of the expansions to the base game.

More specifically, why you can't import a Throne of Bhaal (BG2 expansion) character to the base game when the base game starts you naked in a cage, so it's not even like you'd be breaking the game...unlike BG1 where importing a character brings everything that character had on them.

Which is just...ripe for duping stuff.

Does that really qualify as an irrational fear though? A sting can be incredibly painful, or even deadly in some cases. I don't think it would be irrational to be scared if you saw a jellyfish near you when swimming.

Being scared of jellyfish if you never go anywhere near any body of water, sure. But in general, I'd say it's a reasonable fear.

I remember back in my school days, on the local cricket field they had some of those big metal storage containers - like you see at shipping yards. We used to climb on top and I'd hate climbing down.

Everyone else used to run and jump off. I tried that once - after several minutes psyching myself up to do it. Blacked out the second my feet left the top of the container, woke up on my butt, blood pouring from my nose because I'd smashed it with my knees when I landed.

The Hancock building in Chicago has something...a little similar. It's called the skywalk if I remember correctly.

It's this room you can walk into near the top that's open air, and... It's such an unfathomably freaky feeling. It feels like the wind is trying to pull you out, but it's not violent wind or nothing like that. It's kinda like when you are laying in the grass and the wind blows a certain way and you feel like you're about to fall up into the sky.

When I say they are flat, what I mean is... you know how the handles on a controller have some chunkiness to them, which your hands go around? The Switch feels like it has no chunkiness to grip on to. The whole device is just a slab.
