Hey everyone, I recently purchased an Xbox series s and Iβm seriously loving it! Iβve been looking for the best monitor to pair with it but Iβm having a difficult time picking the right one 
I am kinda torn between the ASUS VG279Q1A (1080p 165hz HDMI 1.4) and the Dell S2722DGM (1440p 165hz HDMI 2.0). My budget is around 300β¬ and Iβm definitely open to more suggestions and assistance!.

You will want to make sure that monitor supports AMD Freesync but in some cases it may be Freesync support OR 120Hz support (or so I heard at least) You will definitely want at least HDMI 2.0 for 1440p and just a note on 120Hz support, just because the console supports it, doesn't mean to say every game shares that support. Most still run at 60 FPS
still kind of wish consoles had a displayport connection. (and yeah, I know it is a PC connection) That would open the doors to so many monitors being fully supported and none of that 120Hz or Freesync stuff

fair point and tbh it may be a good choice. Though just beware of IPS poor contrasts. When playing games like FPS it may actually help spot enemies in shadows better as dark spots appear grey. You'd want a VA panel if you want better contrasts but they can often have a problem with smearing in dark places at lower refresh rates (120Hz included)
