I’m as big of an Xbox fan as they come 3 series x and a series s, stood in line for 10 hours to get one at launch. Got a Kinect at launch going to their preview event. But this new strategy of never knowing where stuff is going to launch. And when games will come to Xbox is a bit disheartening

The only time I've ever regretted having an Xbox is when that Don Mattrick bonehead almost sunk the brand, but that was more me not buying the new hardware, not necessarily regretting Xbox. Legit didn't get an Xbox One until 2015.

It has something to do with the MT-Framework these games are running in.
It's an older engine that hasn't been ported to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 yet and they stopped updating it for Xbox One years back (around the end of 2018).
That's why all their collections in that engine are all PS4/Switch/Steam only at the moment.
All their other remasters/collections which got Xbox ports have been running in RE Engine (Ghost Trick, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Capcom Arcade Stadium etc.)
According to interviews last month Capcom is working on it, so there's a possibility we'll see these games getting ported at a later date.
That's also why Mega Man Battle Network Collection and Ace Attorney Chronicles are missing on Xbox, despite the rest of the entire series being on it. They used MT-Framework.

This isn't going to be a console where people see major graphical improvements. The main difference is going to be that people don't need to choose between graphics and fps modes. They'll get the higher graphics and the higher frame rates together, or close to the higher graphics.

thats likley why they kept the disc drive separate. The other option would have been too include the drive but only 1tb but then you have the storage issue. Overall i think its a good console and they sell a few. But it isnt aimed at the normal gamer.

We brought over Aloy’s model from Forbidden west. We also reworked the character lighting to match the look of HFW and improve skin tones. Hair shaders are also improved. The slight blurring you see between ps4 and ps5 is because the PS4 image here has motion blur turned off
