So like, how long can I tank and/or heal dungeons while leveling without any points into either? Leveling as feral damage... but finding myself being asked to tank and/or heal dungeon groups as I queue for them.

I got no problem doing it, I just worry that I'm going to suck at it and waste the group's time.

I know that content isnt so difficult where you need to be spec'd into tanking/healing in the beginning.... but I'm just curious... how long does that last? 😮

If you spec feral you are specced tank so that's always healing with gear will prolly be fine too but think maybe late 50s gets a bit more annoying

But I'd say you certainly want an int Set after first few dungeons

I can't speak on the value needed as a druid or non dual wield but I remember the number needed was fairly high, which doesn't help matters.

Hey y'all- you guys were so helpful when I came back to WoW after not playing since Cata, and helped me get my Feral up and running in retail.

Last week or so, I discovered the absolute joy of Classic and I've been obsessed with it, to the exclusion of every other game. I started with a mage (got to 23, but honestly haven't enjoyed it all that much. I died when someone sneezed.) Then I swapped to Hunter, and zoomed it right to 31 and I've been loving it.

However, druids have always held my heart, even if they're not anywhere close to meta. Questions incoming! Or if someone experienced wants to send me a private message so I don't have to spam the board, I'd really appreciate it!

My new druid just ticked 10 and I am B E A R. What stat priority is best? My goal is to be a combo of PVE Dungeons and PVP. I doubt I'll ever raid as I don't have the friends nor connections to do so.

My goal is to be a Feral cat for open world, but being able to quickly and easily swap to heals just for lower level dungeons. Without respeccing etc. I'm not trying to dungeon crawl for xp, just quest and do the sungeons as I need gear or if I get bored. So. Questions:

1. Is this goal even possible? Healing level 50 and under dungeons with feral talents?

2. If so, which stats do I stack? I know I'll have to carry two sets of gear - would it be agi/stam for cat, and int/spirit for heals, and just rotate as needed?

3. Is it unplayable to play open world questing as a cat with int/spirit (or whichever healer stats you stack) gear on? Or will I just be slightly slower with decreased dam?

4. Am I better off just stacking Agi and Stam, and tanking dungeons instead of healing? If I go that route, is str or aging more important?

1. you can heal all dungeons fine as feral in int gear.

2. Use sixtyupgrades to look at stat weights for all specs. The Druid discord put effort into keeping them up to date for a while.

3. yes, just slower.

4. tanking is fine. Again, reference sixtyupgrades for weights. Generally, whatever has the most stam+agi+strength total.

Horde classic is a painful experience due to lack of salv.

Also, always recommend going to the classic discord in the pins as it will always be a much more active place for classic info

My question is: can I add the aura(?) or buff from stampede as an argument for ravage and have the keybind work with Ravage while the temp. buff is active?

im level 12 in classic hardcore as druid and just got my bear form. I fucked up and put 1 talent point each into the feral tree one in each option. I am new to classic and hardcore and have 1 talent point left unspent. I am only now looking at the builds i was supposed to stick too. How much did I fuck up? it costs 1 gold to reset my points which is a lot of money right now and it took me awhile of grinding to get couple gold. what talent build is my best option? I see people saying just commit to the feral tree right away and others saying get natures grasp or rush omen. Looking for advice from more expericened players in hardcore. Much thanks

On classic, you only use swipe as a rage dump. It does not scale and does not have the same threat multi as maul. Tab mauling is your "aoe" threat

Hello mates, im new to playing a Druid on TBC Warmane. I’m in pre-raid BiS gear and am excited to start my first raids as a bear tank.

I have some questions regarding stat priorities. I’m struggling to understand how to maximize threat without sacrificing tankiness. When starting raids, I prioritized reaching the crit cap and stacking stamina. However, agility also provides threat through crits and increases dodge.

Is there a point where I can start reducing stamina to focus more on agility?

This would also be useful when switching to cat form to deal decent DPS.

I tanked in TBC, but I can't remember where agi outpaced stam at, but I also remember using a lot of gear sets in that expansion since there were some fights in SSC that i could just go full dps gear on because bosses didn't hit that hard. There is probably a TBC channel in the classic discord (pinned at top) with better information.

I think after phase 1 gearing you want more agi because you're able to armor cap and stam stack alot more easily past tier 4, and i think you pivot a bit more into stam/ehp for sunwell because of the aura nerf to bear dodge, but you'll want whatever attack power/agi/crit you can get

Here is a Feral dru question. My raw ap + gear + Cat form shows 968 AP at lvl 60, but after i did the math it should be 988 AP. where is that 20 ap going. Is this just an UI error and its not calculating my AP correctly? With MoTW it bumps to 1008 AP, Phase 2 Wow Classic. Also i noticed my damage is higher and more crits trigger with a 1h pvp mace (+15str) and tome of knowledge than with things like The Unstoppable Force / Draconic Maul. What is a high parsing AP i should achieve for maximum damage?

So yes basically what this reads is that you should ensure you can cast rip and not waste combat points on savage roar if that would make you lose rip. That's why it's 10 seconds, to ensure you can build a new rip

I play Nelf and do a lot of world pvp but only lvl 30 right now

Shamans are also fun to fight but I really want to fight Mages and Locks most

Tauren is likely arguably a better race than Nelf for Druid if you just compare them alone, but I like Nelf because I like Nelf, and maybe the Alliance races can make a difference too. Gnome Warriors get a nice racial for PvP (in TBC) and I'll have them on my side.

The hassle is mostly for raiding, which is the Manual Crowd Pummeler from Gnomer. It has 3 chargers, can be solod easily, a 1/3 drop rate, and massively increases the power of bear (and still the best cat weapon).

If you raid with any competent team, you basically want one for almost every boss. For 5 mans it is overkill

depends if they put the omen of clairty gift in. That shot feral up to a top dps contender. You also bring the bleed debuff that can only be covered by feral/arms and nobody will want arms. Unholy also brings ebon plaguebringer which covers curse of elements so no griefing lock there. Big value that feral will bring over moonkin is just playing cat that can taunt build. In wrath classic i cleared everything as ot/dps in dps gear probaly 90% of the time outside heroic lich king prog and ruby sanctum. Other than that you were basically a tank that did big dam and tanked as little as possible

Tried moonkin for first time at level 50 in classic, restedxp guide was saying the level 51 huge gorilla elite in jaguero island off coast of bootybay, should not be attempted without a group of at least 3. Couldn’t even use my green whelp armor due to his level. He destroyed me in feral spec, he had 11K health. Paid the 50 gold to respec my healing dual spec to boomie. First of all, I apologize if my English isn't very smooth since I'm using a translator.
I started playing WoW Classic with the Hardcore servers, and then moved on to the 20th Anniversary servers. Now, for the first time, I'm playing The Burning Crusade Classic.
Since this is my first time experiencing this expansion, I'm not sure how to properly play the Feral DPS rotation. In Classic, I used a very simple rotation with just powershifting, Claw, and Ferocious Bite.
But I heard that in TBC, the rotation is more complex, and I'm not sure where to start.
Could anyone kindly explain how the basic Feral DPS rotation works in TBC?
Also, if you have any tips for raids or dungeon runs as a Feral Druid (DPS), I would really appreciate it!

On WOWHead I red that the Drums in P1-P3 have a castetime and can not be used in shapeshift form. As such, LW is pretty much useless. Is that correct? They do become instant cast at P4 but still not in shapeshift.
