If you don’t have time to level, you don’t have time to play the game. The overwhelming majority of your time is going to happen at max level. We can’t possibly know what’s going to be good before the game exists when changes are happening in the future.

Of course its fine to play super casually. It's intended to be as accesible as possible. That's why I say that if you don't have to level in this, you don't have time to play. Leveling is going to take so little time that if you can't find the time to do it, you must have no time at all.

Sorry if this is kind of off topic, but could anyone tell me how good were feral druids in Vanilla Classic WoW? What DPS numbers did they post during the course of the "expansion" and how did they compare to other classes(Ret, hunters, warlocks mainly)? I kinda followed the theorycrafting before Classic launched, but life and other obligations got in the way of actually trying it out. I know there was a strat with the Wolfshead Helm item and Furor talent that seemed pretty interesting, was it better than going Heart of the Wild + a high stat regular helm? Also, how much did the Manual Crowd Pummeler increase our DPS? Did we have any other exotic consumables that were substantial DPS increases?

Wolfshead is required for DPS. The spec is basically gutted without it. HotW/NS is not something you play for PvE. You go normal feral with natural shapeshifter and furor

MCP was big for cat and enormous for bear.

you can freely go between forms since tbc prepatch. they added automatic unshifting so you dont need to make /cancelform macros for everything anymore.

okay doing some napkin math (napkin math always the bestest)
currently I have 30 mana/tick (keeping it tick based instead of mp/5 to keep in line with energy - rounded up a bit reality closer to 27/28) and obviously 20 energy/tick - currently ignoring blessing of wisdom will look at that one later
Each 8th mangle is free with ferocity so instead of 7 mangles you will get 8
as you said thats 14 ticks of energy (found 2.5s tick timer is it actually every 2? doesnt particularly matter here tho)
14*30 = 420 so Id regen 420 mana in that time - each cat form obviously giving another mangle too this is somewhat ignoring several things tho - firstly this assumes 100% uptime + 0 energy at the start this also ignores what happens after first shift so should probably remove ~3 mana ticks from the 420 mana 360 would be a lot fairer due to missed 5s rule ticks

I'm sorry to barge in and ask, but shouldn't I be able to sunfire / moonfire from cat or bear? I've seen people do it, but every time I do, it shifts me out.
