@hybrid anvil I'm not saying its wrong. Plain and simple, I was in a guild as the 2nd boomkin, under geared but performing on par with the 1st boomkin, that was the gms friend. Whenever loot dropped, he recieved it regardless. Taking out ML is better for 95% of guilds. The 1% will function as normal and the other 4 are just irritated.

I have no problem trading gear off as a trial. If I am trialing for a guild, it's because i want to be a part of that guild... i want the guild to benefit, but i wont sit and raid weekly for months to constantly run 2nd hand to other players, when I'm performing on par. The guilds most people are in. Aren't setting records.... so the issue isnt that big of a deal. And trust me, @chrome glade I'm looking 😂 , but my acceptance rate is low for only having done 2 tiers (only one mythic) out of legion. Gotta build that reputation as being decent before people want you...

@dense sonnet Thing is those types of guilds / guild dynamics aren't so much "The norm" in what long term CE raiders (Even to like top 2000) see as mythic raid guilds. The "Toxic loot council debate" seems to be a product of Blizzard wanting to make Mythic more accessible in Legion and people going into something that is very much group oriented with a much more single minded view of character progression in WoW.

But as someone that hasnt been raiding for years, my experience so far with trying to get into mythic has been a pain in the ass, because I have ran into a lot of those groups. Maybe its the server community, maybe its me, but so far, I havent been in a guild that hasnt had that mentality to some degree. Sure, im no top tier argus killed within the first 2 months raider, but for the common person, that shit being an issue at all prevents people from wanting to do that content, which hurts the game as a whole.

Guys I've figured it out. Sylvanas is going to go to Zandalar to start a mining project but ends up finding the Heart of N'zoth and takes it into her which in the process corrupts all of Zandalar so then we have to fight her as a raid boss and Anduin and Saurfang are going to want to kill her but the Zandalari are going to demand a fair trial in which she escapes her trial then travels back in time to stop herself from dying but then Alleria is going to challenge her to Mak'gora and cheat for the sake of the planet but then we're still going to have to deal with the new Lich King and chase the Lich King through two timelines.
