To the defense of blizzard it’s really the gaming industry in general now. I remember reading an article yesterday that devs are starting to become anxious now that BG3 did so well.

Giving players such depth in a game completely finished without micro transactions is a testimony of what gamers really want.

Shit there’s even a revival of players going back and playing DOS II now. Larian set themselves up pretty nicely

BG3 can be a faceroll if you min/max and pop AoE spells + CC (like Black Hole) on fights, even more so if they start surprised, you get 2 free turns. Even against 20 hard enemies you can clear them all in like 3 turns or so, so...

Combine Step of the Wind Dash with the Githyanki Psionics: Jump ability, and you can jump over 100 meters in a single turn. Out of range? Jump. Enemy on top of a cliff? Jump. There are very few places you won’t be able to jump to.

And there is a certain piece of armor that gives you +18 dex

Currently playing Dex Sorcadin, basically you want to pick 2 levels of Paladin for Smite, Oath ability and Dueling style, then put the rest in Sorcerer and start being a Smite Machine Gun who's also tanky thx to Draconic Disciple and playing with a shield

I personally don’t think blizzard knows how to make deeply fun games anymore. They’re still s tier in the first time experience. D4 campaign was great. First time through dragonflight was wonderful. Then their end games hit and it’s very bland.

Also think, or guessing, that they have very very aggressive release schedules and that’s preventing their games time to cook and come out like a BG3

The only downside of new system is they didn't add a Mythic track earlier. Otherwise it made running heroic raid worthwhile for a bit, made prog'ing Mythic easier I don't think anyone besides RWF was mad at that

Valor system was simple yes but wouldn't have been able to accomplish what the current upgrade system does with doing higher content allowing you to upgrade to higher level gear and not encouraging spamming low content to upgrade you gear

DF was fun, every single one of my friends on battle.net who were my M+ pals all quit though

Most haven't logged in for weeks, I see them jump on D4, spend 10 minutes and then log out

Because they’re already halfway done 11.0. Like ion said himself. Their pipelining is so forward thinking that they couldn’t react from negative BFA feedback until DF. SL was almost already done.
