I mean why not? The entire game has been designed with controller support from the start of ARR. It's probably the best MMO with controller support at this point by how much work they put in to it. Even healing is easy on controller in XIV 😄 .

And the XIV community is all about welcoming new players (yes I know there are cases it's not) but the general vibe of the community is welcoming to anyone who's new so I'd imagine when Xbox comes over people will be very welcoming (with some being assholes ofc).

Yeah, well technically you can clear mythic raid in < 2 hours atm if you're farming, just that the prog takes a while in wow. We raid 6 hours a week (2 day x 3 hours), and we usually get CE a month or later before tier raid ends

solo frontlines suck. We used to do them in a group of three, Dark Knight, White Mage, Dragoon (me). Dark Knight would mass grip the entire team, white mage would stun them all (limit break), and I would sky shatter (limit break). Sometimes we'd wipe an entire group of 12-15 people in one go lmao

Larian Studios made an rpg called Divinity, more important it’s sequel Divinity: Original Sin II which was HIGHLY successful and acclaimed. It came out in 2017 and still sells for $65 due to its popularity

Larian is also known for supporting their games for a long while too. Adding in vast improvements as the game ages. They were updating Divinity II years after it came out

So the first "Final Fantasy" game was actually what was supposed to be their last game.
