unless you have serious gear issues, I don't believe they're killing you through full hots in bear very often

speaking 2s mostly, against rogue+dps (thinking mage/spriest mostly), they want to kill your partner unless you do something stupid and make yourself a great target. So focus on pillaring to avoid CC, stay in combat to avoid sap, keep some hots rolling on each of you and try not to trinket at the same time as your partner since usually you'll need at least one of your trinkets to survive a go

against rogue+healer, I just have my warrior sit on the rogue and they're not really a problem
