Heyo! I'm a resto druid with fairly bad gear. Just got to about 220 after grinding my ass of. I'm playing with a survival hunter and healing 3 targets(his pet) in this burst meta is relentless! I feel like if I look away for 2 seconds on of us are already low.
I really want to help out with damage, as it makes a huge difference! My problems are as following:

• what do I do to have somewhat consistent damage without sacrificing my team

• how do I actually do noticeable damage? I hit for like 1-3k with 5 CP ferocious bite in feral affinity and my rake and the other bleed hits for nothing as well. I know deep focus leggo is a opportunity with the buffed affinity talent, but it seems to me as I loose to much healing.

I hope someone has some advice, thanks in advance!

Unfortunately a lot of necro rdruid dmg just isnt real bursty but all those dots added up contribute a decent bit towards pressure during go's. What's more important prolly is just nail ur go every 30s (assuming ur with a hunter that cant get traps without stun).

Should look like intim/bash rotate into trap, 5 pt maim kill targ, double clone at least off trap > get cds > clone kill target for trap cd again.

Past that just pre dot before your gos and offensive swarm is good if you got big pressure, good thorns usage is rly important vs melees.

NF is more annoying against more comps than necro is. As necro you can hit the feral instead of hunter in a jungle for instance. GL getting convoke value against a meleecleave, godcomp. Its also superannoying against hunters with pets soaking and rshamans

NF is fun when it works - but its mostly against clueless people or when they screw up. You also need a partner to set it up properly with. Necro always provides what it does with little effort. If you play 2s only with a capable healer NF could be worth trying out and having fun with. If you're gonna do 3s at all i would highly recommend necro
