We just recently learned about the 40% versatility upgrade from the 2x pvp trinket bonuses. Getting kinda crushed in the first arenas and wondering if its worth it for us to farm honor and "downgrade" our 190 ilevel pve gear to 158 pvp gear with full versatility bonus. Is the 30ish drop in ilevel/main stats (stam/str etc) worth more or less than the 40% versatility bonus at ~160 ilevel?

Honor pieces would take ~90k honor to get a full set at 197 ilvl
Which is just a silly time commitment when you can get a full set of conquest

In Oribos there's always 2 pvp weekly quests near the vendors

I came in using PvE gear, around ilvl 223. I see Vers as our best pvp stat, but how impactful is that? Like, if I wish to push up, should I be actively looking to swap crit/mast pieces out for vers? Is there a minimum % considered to be necessary? And is the Vers trinket output bonus worth picking? Ive already got a stun trinket, but presently rocking a 226 unbound changeling.
