hey guys been playing necro feral from launch and I got a question for someone who actually has good gear and knowledge on how to properly sim damage. I've been playing with frenzyband for a while (which has been just ok), but after the all the buffs that were practically just for me i feel like my burst is VERY strong, additionally frenzy band puts another bleed on the target so with the conduit Taste for Blood and talent feral frenzy I have 5 bleeds on a single target at once for 2.8 x 5 = 14% increased bite dam. Draught of Deep Focus might be better for sustained dam but, I've noticed that rake and rip almost deal the same amount of dam per sec in short increments so my argument here is that 40% increase to rip is honestly dog compared to having an additional bleed on the target that is 150% (!!!) the damage of rake AND thrash combined + our evolved swarm effects frenzyband bleed separately!! So thats our evo swarm individually buffing rip, rake, thrash, frenzyband and feralfrenzy! I have been having SO much fun with this build, watching people absolutely melt under the sheer goddamn weight of my bleeds has been a blast and really makes me love playing feral. I really think this build has potential and would love to see if it works for anyone else. also quick note, it really isn't noticeable most of the time but you will also have more uptime on our 3min cooldown bc of frenzyband!!

My guess is they find it more reliable to pull off consistently compared to setting up a Feral Convoke in melee range each game and having it potentially get shut down.

Adaptive Swarm is just so consistent.

It's more fun for me too over something like Convoke where I get mad if it takes longer to start getting some bites out.

Swarm is also long ranged.

I haven't been able to play post-buff Adaptive Swarm so I'm excited for weekly reset to go back to it finally.

Hmm. perhaps? A few of them I know have been feral for a long time. Nothing crazy high with their haste (8-12%), but usually feral is around 0 so I interpret that as they just switched to necro and are building up haste pieces.

I would have to assume that mastery is still better as it increases all bleed dmg as well as finisher dmg.
