VS Rogue you can use Thorns + Barkskin + Survival Instincts if your trinket their first stun. That gives you a few seconds where they hurt themselves more than they hurt you.

Survival Instincts and Bear form help tremendously if you can do either. Also the Thorns are important because it gives you an opportunity to turn the tables.

Its not really balanced right now as far as I can tell. The best thing you can hope for is to survive their opener and then quickly kill them. If a good rogue catches you when you aren't already in Bear Form and its 1v1 you are almost 100% guaranteed dead I think.

there's nothing beneficial for nf for boomy, you get what a mastery buff, movement ability spell with a blink, and a gimmicky one shot skill. Kyrian you get a better healthstone that is also a dispel, a flat mastery buff in addition to 15% damage increase for every solar beam. kyian you have something for every single solar beam, nf cd is 2 mins so every other beam assuming it's not kicked/cc'd

oh and lets not forget how innacurate convoke is with more targets

My thought process is that healing output was a non-issue for the keys I did in BFA, up until a 23 I never did a dungeon where I felt like I wanted to take a mana or healing essence or traits at all. So if I'm going to stick to the same level of play in m+, I have no good reason to pretend I need the Night Fae healing cd. The damage is great tho for sure. Could be the difference between skipping a certain extra phase on a boss or not.
