Any general resto tips for pvp never really tried resto druid just messing around in bgs / worlds. Do we try to damage more as cat right? I just see people taking starfire/starsurge versus some of the other talents in the druid tree. Just trying to get a feel for it. Also hard to track on people that are not in the raid/group lol.

Resto Druid doesnt really do damage, the main reason to be in cat form is to use maim and rake stun and building combo points to maim again later, also your combo point generators extend hots if playing the forest guardian pvp talent. Same idea with pressing starsurge is mainly just to benefit from the forest guardian pvp talent. I’d say in general try to focus on healing first then when you’re comfortable you can try to start weaving in cat form globals and starsurging more

I largely agree, but would highlight that Starsurges feels like it has a lot of kill secure potential. I'd say about 1 in 5 of my solo shuffle match victories are thanks to Starsurge shaving off ~2-5% of the kill targets health.

Personally I think the real issue is that blizzard erroneously bought into the idea that they should try to design encounters and classes that are somehow too complicated for a bot instead of designing things that are fun and intuitive.

Weakauras only became too powerful because they decided to design a game where if you don't trade defensive cooldowns into borderline invisible offensive cooldowns within 0.25 seconds you die.

Weakauras didn't stop them from designing a game with midnight level pacing.
