Most purple gear they're wearing will be conquest. But you can use conquest to buy crafting tokens to build up your 2ndary stats better. It's all the same.

I don't really think ascendance embellishment is worth vs 2 or 3 more pieces of conquest rn.
Takes 80 seconds to stack fully, randomizes every 8 seconds. You could just have 2x focusing lens and more 639 gear. Or just no embellishments and the gear is still probably better.

If you do more than like 30m dmg in an epic bg ur playing it wrong. Ur supposed to stealth and run to the other side of the map. When dead enemies respawn and run back they’re probably afk and weaker and used their cds already, easy pickings. Solo one of them and then restealth for another few minutes. Let your cds come back up, might as well pull up an anime on the second monitor while you wait. See that you have the inactive debuff so you panic run around to find someone to fight again. Die cause this time you don’t have the favorable matchup, afk until you rez. Stealth and run back to where you were before. Rinse and repeat. Finish epic bg, win the game thanks to your kda and your map pressure, collect free honor

I think a lot of people in this chat that have responded to you have been giving biased and offensive replies. Like saying there's no dopamine reward or calling people unintelligent.
Here's my attempt at an unbiased review:
PvE and PvP tend to just appeal to different people. I think PvE is a very broad term and can refer to people who just want to do transmog and collect mounts and also people who do raids and M+.
To me raiding is a fun past time at times when I want a break from PvP and the toxicity. But it can get old fast. After I figure out the mechanics and beat it the stimulus is over for me.
But I think the idea of progression is one reason. A group of people getting together every week and trying to go further then they did the week before. Because PvE is easier once you know the mechanics it can be casual. And some people want to game more for stress relief, and PvP can be more stress inducing. My old guild used to have nights where we raided and all got drunk together lol.
I also know people who are amazing arena players but they want to play with their fiance and their fiance just likes to quest and do other things. Guess what. He doesn't pvp anymore. He PvEs. So maybe it can be more welcoming in some ways. Not everyone who plays the game wants to be a sweatlord 9000, and that's okay.
Some people don't like the idea you can do everything right and still lose. In PvE of you lose its because you made a mistake. In PvP you can do everything right and get steamrolled
I will say, I think anyone who PvPs at a high level could also PvE if they wanted to. Because PvP is more reactive and PvE you can memorize mechanics. And the reverse may not be true. But there are some very intelligent and capable PvE'rs who just don't want to pvp for one reason or another.

So like you're a dps and you list that you're trying to do 3v3 and you wait for ppl to apply and then you pick ppl
The problem is is that if you're a dps, you're waiting for a healer and then you're praying you win enough that they don't leave immediately
Now if you're a healer, you basically bypass this system because most dps would rather play with a terrible healer than sit in lfg all night
But if you're a dps, and you're just an average player, you're usually done after 2 losses in a row

But we have a rshaman who heals when we do BGs and warmode and if he's not with us or we need 2 healers our dev evoker will swap to pres. But idk if they're 2000+ caliber players lol. I'm sure those are more rare. But with where I'm at I'm also just looking to grow and build with people as opposed to finding people already established

I couldnt take you seriously from when you first replied into this. You have absolutely made a network of friends. You have a ton of people added and you could log in and ask at least 10 people from dreamgrove or adjacent friends to queue with you. Your unwillingness to do that has nothing to do with lfg or solo shuffle or experience.

It is a bit antisocial most of the time cuz thats how people want to act, but I dont think the LFG experience is usually any more social. And neither of them have to be that way. You can talk to people and add them for queues thru both tools/game modes or you can just click the button, play game, eventually stop and you'll never see those players again in both game modes too.

The combat system is polarizing. Personally I love the fact it's interactive and engaging and you can light attack and bash weave and block. As opposed to WoW auto attack and no doge or block mechanic. But performance in ESO is a chronic problem that makes the game unplayable at times
