Catfire is basically dead as far I can tell, the damage is just bad this patch.
But you're naturally bleeding up targets in the Bite build because of Taste for Blood so when you need to kite and heal up you'll ideally have that bleed damage still rolling on them.
Plus it snares them and makes them take less healing.
Our self-healing is pretty decent now from what I've played so far this week but I take HotW for quick Clones in Shuffle so that's adding to it.

They changed the Balance part to also reduce cast times on non-healing abilities.
Which includes CC with cast times.
Generally you don't want to play to constantly try and force Clones but it's something you take advantage of if you get the chance to cast them as they provide on demand damage windows.
