Im just a HUGE solo shuffle fan/grinder so I have (mostly) good things to say about it

though there are certianly flaws with how it works

I have 1000+ games played in RSS as Rdruid so I'm not just talking to talk.

I literally feel no difference in healing difficulty from 1600 RSS to 2.1k RSS

I've gone 6-0 in 2.1k lobbies and 1-5 in 1800 lobbies

The dps are certainly always wildcards, but they do slowly get better as mmr rises... by no means are 2.1k dps all stars though. But geneally they kick and have solid rotational skills

Just feel as rdru can just play the other healer, In most lobbies can just take it to deeper damp than other healers can... unless you have the GIGA rat dps on your team, in which case you gotta go clone to try and rob that 4-2

@haughty garden oh and I didnt agree enough on your earlier point. I dont think 4-2 is NEARLY rewarded enough. A 4-2 at even mmr is worth 24 rating, which is rather sad

and as you get higher mmr the healer mmr gaps present an issue as well. Just get frustrating lobbies, Idk how lontar got in the one from today... but he went 5-1 and lost mmr. How the game even matched him with a healer 300 mmr lower is beyond me

But it is still very possible to climb to 2400 and beyond, just takes a bit more effort than DPS

I healed on rdruid in BFA and I remember thinking the damage output was too high from dps.

Then SL came along and I thought it couldn't get worse.

Someone on reddit did an analysis that I only skimmed, but it did make sense. The TLDR was that the healing distribution is about the same as the DPS, there are just way more dps so we dont see as high ratings or as mayn people at high ratings

I'm old school though, I came from the days of the long games and deep dampening. Season 2, mana drains, double healer comps, etc.

Like ultimately it's a team game still and nobody can literally solo carry a lobby. I think 6-0ing as DPS is far more common than as healer, but also 0-6ing is too. Healers feel like you can do a lot more to stay afloat but it's definitely harder to stomp.

When 1 DPS goes 6-0, the other 3 all lose 2-4
