Seems to work fine except perhaps audio (there is a workaround), they fixed it in Dota2 yesterday (I think?) should be done for cs2 anytime now
And smokes can sometimes be invisible if you're too far from them (on linux, people have it on steamdeck too), that's interesting. Reminds me of the old days of "set your graphics to 16bit to see through smokes" lol

Its because of the subtick system for tracking hits
Hits get calculated subtick but ingame animations aren’t
So theres a desync between the tracking of your shot on the server and the animations like shooting, bullet trace etc on your client
Theres some good videos explaining it online with millisecond values of when the processing starts
So an easy fix would be make clientside animations also subtick speed to sync up game server behaviour of a shot with the actual model shooting in the players viewmodel
