Learn how to kite in wide loops in the open if it’s a lot of melee, with ursols /typhoon to disrupt. That way whoever’s on you is constantly taking dam/cc and you’re always getting healing.
It’s counterintuitive But tightly pillar humping around in circles is actually really bad. Does nothing to really stop melee uptime on you unless you’re 200% movespeed giga fast, and all you’re doing is lining your dps partner and healer from helping you with counter pressure or heals.
In general kite melee backward away from their healer and try to pull their healer off his pillar. If the healer refuses to move then the melees HP on you will start dropping like crazy and they’ll notice it and fuck off. Or they don’t and die and you win. Lol
Like running around a pillar tight on the pillar in bear form and not any faster than them does nothing but make shit really hard for your partner and healer.

So if you don't play healer even your DPS chars don't get invites at all

A big one that will help you is using instant roots and running tbh
If you're taking dick, use your proc to root and then run to your healer, give him a chance to heal you
Root and then clone their offensive cds
Since regrowth is piss now, I'm rooting everything
But yeah your defensive are all useless and the main reason to prees them is so ur healer can't say u didn't press
And don't run to Africa, just run enough that they tab target someone else
If they follow you behind a pillar , stun them and they'll probably blow trinket

All this bear form and ironfur shit is complete bait. Don't sit in bear form and pray that ironfur will save you when you arent doing any damage for 10s at a time. None of the other dps at 1500 know how to do real damage, use your defensives aggressively to establish pressure or else you're never gonna win a round. Use bear form if you notice your healer is caught in CC and you might get stunned, otherwise you can root melees and kite for a bit if you dont have good damage to put out, generate CPs with moonfire from a bit of range, go for a clone, etc.

i mean what sucks is that they went 90% of the way there with shuffle and didn't finish out/fix the DPS queues so more players would be drawn into pvp and then potentially 2s/3s later on for more organized play
so rn they're sucking 2s and 3s dry with shuffle for a 30min wait fest that not many people are intiersted in and then pvp overall is just down as a result
