As someone who considered bear for RBG but never bothered cause didn’t know how. Cookie cutter guide on talent and builds + how you play your role on maps would personally be most beneficial to me. And a guide that accomplished explaining that to me would be something I would check out.

Yeah more times than not you can get away with a cookie cutter guide. That’s the unfortunate side of how the trees are organized with dead points. Currently in this awkward in-between seasons just trying to merge where the classes has been versus where it is going with the upcoming changes. I certainly plan on making more videos and that’s why I wanted to open up the conversation. You also bring to my attention the weird mix between of trying to provide a cookie cutter build while talking about complicated aspects that could be a different video.
Also i see the confusion with listing too many builds, was primarily suggesting just a base and flag carrying build, then theory crafting a potential more complicated change around tier to assist with an ongoing issue for high flag stacks

I mean it's not really "getting away" to be honest. Most people dont want to invest too much time in builds. They just want to play, and in reality, it's very possible. Like swapping earthwarden to a different talent, obviously is "optimal" but in the end... Do we really care enough to switch talents every map, unless its talents that are extremely mandatory of you can absolutely not pick both at same time
And the "weird mix" is really just people wanting to get into it and finding a proper video covering it all
Just a quick build explanation/link and then into how to play

Whats important for people is where to stand on flag defense, what order of cds, what classes are dangerous for you etc
For example in SL, a single rogue could never cap you solo

I’ve wanted to expand on the intricacies like cd rotation, kiting and map positioning but have struggled with the scripting as it’s all very situational/comp specific and not sure how to organize it. Do you have execution suggestions machtig?

I mean the video does what its ment to do. But if you want to have any real impact, the stuff we mentioned previously is what people want/need usually.
Ofcourse its always a bit different, however for example "common situations" could be described. For example, 1 rogue trying to take the base. In shadowlands you'd stand on top of the flag in case it was 1 rogue inc'ing and away from flag in case a boomy was in stealth as well
And usually there'd be a recommended order of cds
Idk what guardians have rn cause ive not played it since sl
But an easy solution used to be barkskin > incarn > barkskin > trinket
Which ment atleast >1 minute of time
And usually the rogue could die in that time too
And for flag carrying you'd stick kind of closer to the teamfight before running off when the offense team went for efc
Ofcourse explaining all situations is impossible. But most people want to know where to stand when defending a base, and how they can keep it as long as possible. And if you can keep it from a rogue then i think you're fine for almost all cases

But in reality, when >1 enemy incs your base youre gonna lose it if youre not assisted fast enough
Or actually know how to play, but even then time is limited
When they get better at defending they can add in scrolling through enemies looking where they are, whether they're stealthed(and how many sre stealthed) to estimate if you're going to get inc'ed
Etc etc
In summary, focus on very common situations and give general directions (its enough for a lot of people) if they have specific questions they can always come in here/or message you directly
Heck you could record gameplay and cover some situations in a seperate video for example
Where you explain what and why you do if you want
(if you want to spend a lot of time on it that is)

I actually find bear rotation right now to be rather complicated due to the burst and having to understand what class you are against; like as a bear you should never lose a 1v1. But it is not a straight approach and that’s why I’m struggling to make those specific videos but your right I need to sit down and look at the common situations
Recording game play is pretty easy, finding the time is the challenge. Wasn’t joking at the end of my video about convincing my wife to be able to play. I’ve been off work since my injury so, 90% of my time is watching the kiddo while she makes the money. I’m just happy I talked her into letting me start a twitch

Ayee on flag carrying its not really doable on saying a real rotation. But base defending you can usually do a little "rotation" for keeping it as long as possible i suppose

Sl was extremely different @grand mesa a rogue won’t be able to solo cap on you next patch unless there are more cc changes, but even at higher brackets that’s a seldom issue anyways, it’s more about positioning for the 2 person hit
