If you’re stuck at that rating there are likely basics that you need to work on in arena. Some of them deal with being able to maintain your dmg rotation effectively. Also utilizing your defensives.

been trying Hekili out and some other WAs to see if I have all bleed up. It's a lot easier than for balance, the Eclipse management is well hard. More focus macros for stunning healer has been helpful. Acutally just one 🙂

do you have addons to track enemy CDs

i mean

can you see when they are bursting someone?

as both boomy and feral you are great with peels
in shuffle that matters

so if you are able to understand that the enemy is bursting or about to burst someone, and you are able to stun/clone/vortex/root his "go"
you make him lose important uptime.

in the end of the day you are helping your healer, and you are saving your team from a death situation

if you are the one being targeted, its also important so you can do something about it, like, if you know there will be an incoming stun, you can pre-bear and frenzy regen, you can use barkskin/survival instincts if you need to tank the damage, and you can root/clone them as well

you can pay attention if enemy DPS has no trinket/no defensive.. for example, hunters get scared and press turtle all the time. feral bleeds go through turtle (used to at least), and usually after turtle during mid-late game with high dampening they are screwed

u also gotta make sure you are on your healer line of sight, so you can safely receive heals
and try not to overlap defensives
for example.. its fine to use barkskin and frenzy regen or maybe renewal if you need to, but its bad to press barkskin+survival instincts at the same time, coz for the next 1min you prob wont have nothing to deal with enemy burst, etc .. so if its a matter of life and death (shouldnt be) you still wouldnt want to overlap, like, press barkskin first, and when it ends or when its about to end u press survival instincts

as a boomy u can clone/root alot. u can test it on BGs too, try to stop enemy burst by cloning/rooting them

an addon that changed my life was bigdebuff and OmniBar. but sArena/Gladius , omniCD (to see ur friends stuns/bursts/defensives) and nameplatecooldowns (tracks enemy cds on top of the nameplate) are super helpful too, you just gotta figure stuff out

another thing i forgot

if you are bursting, you need to be able to see when enemy press "wall" (big defensive CD) too

so if you are bursting an elemental shammy for example, and he used astral shift, he will mitigate 40% or 60% damage for 10secs-ish

if you are able to swap target, and start dumping your bigdam to another target, this makes big pressure for the enemy team

u were doing big dam to shammy, he walls, u switch to whoever is close and might be a good kill target

so u make good use of ur burst

its alot to assimilate, if you are using hekili to figure out your 'pve' damage rotation you might want to work on that first, but keep those stuff in mind

Thanks! Lots of great points there! I am not tracking enemy CD, usually it's clear when they try to burst. I am struggling to keep up with all the bleeds + looking at sArena and my own team. Getting a little bit better, but tunnel vision is real! Will check out the addons you suggested

the UI / addons is really preference/personal choices, its just important for you to make sure that they are working for you, so you can get all the info you need to keep going

to track dots in the past people used TellMeWhen, but i think this got old, and weak auras is a good option
i dont like hekili at all, because you kinda need to keep watching what you are going to do next

i think hekili might be good to understand the class for beginners, but at some point you should just track the dots with a weak aura or something like it

so i think hekili helps you to stay on tunnel vision

and i think its a bad habit

but im dogshiet.. so
