Don’t think of your hots as your healing to save. Think of it as just maintenance passive healing and mastery stacks. Your swiftmend, sotf regrowth, sotf + ns regrowth, and your 3 stack nourish are gonna be what heals through burst generally speaking. And you need your hots/ mastery stacks to facilitate big numbers

Bear form and frenzied Regen is solid to help. But dealing with the big burst is just brutal all around. Playing nearly max range is about the best tip I’ve got. If you see em blasting in can hopefully get at least a pre hot rolling.

Oh and keeping lb on yourself is very good, not only for the faster tick rate but also to help survive their burst

Or if you’re really struggling in openers can run the no budding tree build, you’ll survive the first two sets of wings much easier. But then falls off hard compared to the budding leave circle build

Would go the 2nd build then, it’s mana hungry but the throughput is very good

if you have a recording happy to look at it, but general tips are sitting in bear form a lot when they are bursting. Frenzied regen and the +healing received is massive

But mostly it’s about just getting space from the Ret, if you run far enough away he should have to peel off
