Thats cuz healing in pve is historically the easiest job in the game, especially dungeons or low mythic/not-mythic raid. Coming into dragonflight they literally nerfed healing relative to HP by ~30% to make it actually challenging.

You need to respond to their cool downs efficiently. Shuffle is really fast. Regular hots aren’t gonna heal through deathmark. Or a WW sweep serenity go. Need to use ironbark and NS and swiftmend regrowths judiciously to top and match their buttons. Normal hots are just maintenance healing

I made it to 1.4k so far in solos.
but one thing I have a little "issue" with now is when they swap to me, I try to use vortex and Incap roar to get away from melee while staying in bear, but once hots fall off and I can't reapply without leaving bear I tend to die

I personally think root is better with deep roots talent. Are you pre bearing when they swap to you? If you pre bear the hoj or stormbolt it’ll do a lot for you. Pre bearing should be a reflex or a nervous tick almost. If I get randomly rooted and warrior is in game I automatically just swap bear to shift root but also prebear the stormbolt. When you kite you kite backwards away and pull them away from their healer generally.

Also you should try to always be at range and outside of bolt range. So if they walk towards you with bad intention it’s easier to tell and give you enough time to react and go bear.

Bark when you’re stunned and they’re hitting you with buttons popped. Don’t randomly bark when ur not stunned just because you’re medium health unless it’s like insane rot go or something
