It's less about "can't heal without it" and more about "heal using less mental bandwidth, so there's more for mechanics" imo. My main is a pres evoker and being able to track who's echoed by just seeing their entire health bar change color out of the corner of my eye rather than looking out for a tiny little corner icon makes it so I can almost heal without looking down at my frames in certain circumstances. It's probably not a huge difference. But I can feel the difference in comfort and that I'm using less bandwidth on figuring out who has echo on them. On druid I track rejuv, germination, and symbiotic blooms differently than standard and it makes healing waaay smoother for me. Also means you can make your healer frames take up less space on your screen too since the information you need to see optimially is much larger. So tldr it's about minimizing the need to hard focus frames.

gearing has been super easy this season actually, u might just notbe used to it yet. prob best thing u can do is spam keys, use ur rolls on good dungeon for quick myth gear (npx then see based on what u have), craft all offpieces that arent mythlvl. if u wanna u can craft with hero crests, they are uncapped so doesnt really matter just means u will have to spam more dungeons, but if u use ur rolls first then u should get decent ilvl quickly while farming crests:D

I’ve been maining a Priest healer (both Disc and Holy), focusing mostly on Mythic+ and raiding. I recently decided to switch classes because I hate the low mobility and mana issues, and it doesn't seem like Blizzard plans to fix them anytime soon. I also hate the Shadow spec, so doing delves or quests feels like a chore.
I’ve tried both Monk and Druid, and I really enjoy healing on both. With Monk, I also like the DPS and tank specs (I’ve only played these in delves), whereas I don't really care for the other Druid specs. But I will only play them to clear expeditions and delves. I feel like Monk offers more possibilities in terms of healing, and I’m a bit scared I’ll get bored of the Druid specs quickly. However, I assume there will be plenty to learn if I climb higher in Mythic+ keys.
Next season, I’ll probably focus exclusively on Mythic+, so strategically, I was targeting Druid because it has so much utility, huge mobility, and seems to stay consistently good, or at least never "crap", for years. I'm not as sure about Monk; it has less utility, and a bad nerf could easily kill the class. I don't mind playing something that isn't meta (I mained Holy this season knowing it wouldn't be meta because I found it fun), but my main problem is that nothing has been done over the last expansion or this one to improve the holy spec.
The fact that I struggle so much with mana while other healers don't have this issue is super annoying. I’d really like to avoid playing a class that feels ignored by the devs, which makes me a bit wary of Monk, even though they are performing very well this season. For those of you who main Resto Druid, and also try monk, why do you prefer this class? How do you do the others contents? (which dps spec or tank) ? 🙂

it just depends on what you find fun. my personal advice is to not overthink it.

if you want to play either class, make both of them. level them to 90, play each spec. decide which one is more fun for yourself.

That depends on if you are lifeblooming yourself, your lb uptime and renewal in pandemic, your swiftmend cpm

That is indeed wrong. You should always have lb and 2x rejuv on yourself and extend with swiftmend on cd.

The general rule is you can add up to 30% of the original HoTs duration. In 12.0, this now applies to a smaller selection of HoTs. Rejuvenation will not extend at all, whereas Lifebloom and Regrowth still get the full 30%. We are not sure why they made this change.

In the rotations guide page under class and spec mechanics explained Apex:Everbloom information is from the previous version of apex. Under the same section, in the pandemic tab, it says that a rejuvenation cant be pandemiced while lifebloom and regrowth can which I believe has been fixed?

In the builds and talents pages under wildstalker raid talents (probably other ones also) apex is also outdated.
