Hey guys! I recently tried out shaman and their short CD ranged Interrupts really make me feel like I have a lot more agency in my M+ runs.
At its core I like the playstyle of balance more but I really realllyyyyyyy dislike solar beam. It feels like shaman can compensate for a group that lags behind on interrupts whereas as a balance I feel helpless
Does anyone have the same gripes?:( I'm almost thinking to switch to a elen shaman/ resto shaman main because of this but I'm not sure if I'm looking at this the wrong way (IE that solar beam = depending on the group to pick up the slack for interrupts)
I just don't see that a 8 sec group silence on a min CD offers the same advantages of a 12 sec, consistent wind shear interrupt

They should release a new 3 min cd that grants a stacking haste and dmg buff that increases with every cast within the window which lasts roughly 30s creating a ramping playstyle that does insane amounts of dmg

But just different spender philosophy
Do you want the free movement casts to be during the building or the spending
Devourer perma casting Consume or whatever when moving and ramping up to a long cast, versus a bunch of small casts where you can't move leading up to instant casts when you spend
Partly why I think Starsurge should have a cast time
Would work if building AP was free movement
could also help the constant battle of attrition whether your AP gen should come from random procs or from casts
