Ascendant Voidcores
The new upgrade items are out, and it seems you are able to continously farm them which means your upgrades are not limited by week. Finishing the quest from Decimus grants you 1 Ascendant Voidshard, you need 5 of these to finish an upgrade item.
This is not meant as a gearing guide since your priorities can vary from someone else, but here are some things to keep in mind:

Weapons are very good and overall your first upgrade. Whether you send your upgrade on a Crafted weapon instantly, or hoard up some more Ascendant Voidshards while using your bonus rolls for a myth track weapon is up to you. There are merits to both.

As for which trinket to upgrade first; just sim your character. If you have Vaelgor + Gaze/Ribbon at maxed item level the choice is very close to the point where it doesn't really matter. I would still probably just upgrade Vaelgor since on-use trinkets are cooler.
